Critique - This needed to be said

Talk about anything modeling: kits, tools, paint, etc...

No worries... Like I said, a beautiful build ;) I know when I post my own builds they often have a few or more flaws... Some I decide to bypass for whatever reason, and some I do not notice until the digital camera puts it front and center too late for me to go back and fix.... Lets just say I am graciously pleased if folks looking either miss them, or elect not to call them out... Lord knows that I have yet to build a flawless project... They can all be better and hopefully the next one will be just a tad bit more...

So what was the bogus load-out Prof of Death tried to pass off as realistic? :hmm:

Not bogus, just anachronistic. Perfectly fine for a Rolling Thunder F-4C, incorrect for a Linebacker F-4D.
I don't want to get dragged into somebody's conflict from elsewhere. So i am not gonna point out any of the gigs on here now, thats not cool. I already had the chance to do so and opted not to, instead giving praise for the overall beautiful work of that build.
I have a fair amount of knowledge and some good references on Vietnam War aircraft. Like some folks are with 109s or Spitfires, I am fascinated with the Vietnam Air War. And I never pass up trying to learn more. The more that I do learn, I like to apply to my model building to create a "snapshot" if you will of a particular subject at one moment. And a high percentage of the folks looking at either one of my Vietnam subjects, or Jim's Phantom would not know the differences regarding load out accuracy.

Really? :hmm: Sarcasm I do hope... But it does illustrate the point of someone making a valid critique becoming the proverbial "fart in church".

That wasn't me that farted in church. It was the little old lady in front of me. The one with the blue hair.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
