Oops, I forgot one....

Post by Duke Maddog »

Back when I posted the finished armor models in the previous Thread, I forgot to post this little Russian Air Force Fire Truck that I finished for the "That Others May Live" campaign on the Modeler's Alliance. Here it is. I did finish this at least a month ago I believe:

This was the old PST kit that I built Out of the Box. I did have to add some acetate windows to this though since none came with the model. I painted it with Wal-Mart 96-cent rattle can red.

It ain't museum or contest quality, but I'm pleased with it. Thanks for looking in, comments are welcome.

Now there is something I do not see that often. That fire truck certainly adds some colour to your collection.

Now, that is unique. BUT................... :GM:

Very cool subject Mark! I do like it! Have you brought that one by AMPS yet and I missed it?

Thanks for the many awesome replies guys! Yeah, it does add a bit of color to my collection. I have another one that has a different cab I'm planning on starting next month.

Lyle, I had a tough enough time getting the finish right. Besides; I believe they kept these as immaculate as possible to keep them doing their job. A rusted one would definitely have issues.

Carlos, I haven't brought this one in yet. Amazingly enough; when I was packing all the models I wanted to bring to AMPS, I looked around asking myself 'What else do I need to bring?' I even looked right at this and then past it; completely forgetting that it was one of my most recent completions. I'll try bringing it into the next AMPS. I hope you'll be there to see it.

Thanks again to all you guys for the great compliments!
