Re: Fw 190A8 (Tamiya 1/48)
My laptop died, and I lost a lot of stuff, but here are some pics that made it through the crash!
Im on my mother's laptop at the moment--she's letting me borrow it while she's visiting
I'm building this one OOB, and I cant complain. Nice cockpit detail makes me a happy girl

nice engine detail too, but it looks like it will be mostly covered up. So no wiring.

I got a bit excited and distracted, and glued teh wings on before putting in the cockpit! OOPS!!!
some emergency surgery was required

Nice recovery on that one! I've never done something like that....nope, never. Hasn't happened... ![Embarrassed ](./images/smilies/icon_redface.gif)

To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Re: Fw 190A8 (Tamiya 1/48)
grabbed these with my phone
Finally got the replacement part for my airbrush, and dang does that make a difference! After fiddling around getting the air pressure and paint consistency right, I free-handed the camo. Not that bad if I do say so myself!

talk about a confidence booster. Over a year away from the airbrush, and the first time back I do something like this? Im pleased as punch![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif)
