Well, it was not a very productive year for me in 2017. Only three completions. But that is three more completed than in 2016. So I guess in comparison that is a positive. But I am still a long way from two primary modeling goals: 1) finish up a big portion of my sidelined builds, and 2) get up to an average of one completion per month...
So without further ado, here are my completions of 2017:
First up, a tribute build to my father, who passed away at the end of 2016, a weapon that he crewed on during his time in the Army, the M55 Quad .50 in 1/35 by Dragon
Next was an old build that had been sidelined for years due to the NMF refusing to cooperate... in the summer I knuckled down and finished it up, Monograms venerable 1/48 F-86F
And lastly, a quick build of Airfix’s mid 70’s vintage 1/48 Me-109F
Here’s to a more productive 2018....

No matter how many kits you finished in 2017, or else: I am amazed by the beauty of how they are done!

Man, that Sabra is a milestone in your modeling evolution. I you manage to finish such a stunner like that once a year it's all good.
But I feel ya, too many untouched styrene in the stash.

I salute you, sir. I honestly feel there is a synergy between your approach and vintage or classic plastic that you must continue to explore. Congratulations to you!

Thank you Bruce! I do love those old kits... some just take more elbow grease than others. I hope to outdo last year with this years work. With both classic and new kits.
