Roberto Chaudons "Sir Jones", 1/10

Post by tigrazor »

Hi all.

After the bust is before the bust. ;) Tywin Lannister is completed and Roberto Chaudons "Sir Jones" is next on the bench. He reminds me a bit of "Unca McScrooge". The figure itself is very detailed - just look at the hats leather texture, the creases in his skin etc. Those creases scream for contrast painting. :D

After priming him with Belton Skin tone (rattle can), GW "Dwarf Flesh" and several shades and washings followed. Thats the result so far:

Interesting. Is this a "stand alone" figure or is he a part of some anime/graphic novel/story that I have never heard of?

Cool. I think worked with him!
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Borg, I think thats a figure for its own. But my grand-uncle looks quite similar - if he would wear a had like that and would be grim looking all day long. And as far as I can remember, that never happened. ;)
