My Krupp 21cm mortar (what's actually a howitzer by modern standards) is crawling along. Tested my new photo table by taking this picture. The light from below is too yellow, so the white balance was far off. Photo Shop to the rescue, but still not perfect. Will have to invest in one ore two +5000 K lambs.

Wow!! What a model! I knocked out as much of the shadow as possible. I was thinking it’s the position of the key light as well. What’s your box set up look like? Is it on a table?

Also what’s your camera lens?

Thank you, Carlos and Bruce.
Yeah, I didn't pull too much on the brightness trigger in PS. Also took the picture free handed, so apperture wasn't where I like to have it.
My setup
My Nikon 35mm f/1.8 DX lens

Well, this one is back on my workbench again. It was sidelined due to problems with the resin replacement wheels I had bought for this project. (a whole separate story there) Anyways, between CA glue, CA accelerator, and my motor tool a few weeks ago, I took care of the problems with the resin wheels in an afternoon bench session. This months AMPS meeting was a build nite meeting, so I added the wheels, and built the basic turret, along with a few other parts. Today I built the grenade launcher and some other fiddly bits on the turret, as well as adding the rear to the lower hull.
Almost ready for paint now, and fulfilling my goal of completing sidelined kits this year!

So many nice projects ongoing!

I have been two weeks more or a less occupied with work and reality, but this is the status of the Dornier..
The fuselage halves are connected!
