blanked off the radiator intake/exhaust. the kit just had open space and I didnt want a see-thru effect. So all combined, its a bit tricky to line up. Also in the image is the work to mount the replacement exhausts. Talk about trial and error!!

Careful clamping and glue helped seal things together without giant gaps.

a bit of putty and sanding next!

Looking good.
You can learn all the math in the 'Verse, but you take a boat in the air that you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurtin' 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

and much curvier! the profile is smoother than the -D model. The radiator scoop is a longer curve, as is the topline of the fuselageBorgR3mc0 wrote:It all looks nice and clean with those fuselage halves closed.
P-51 d profile

P-51h profile

its just so interesting looking between the two variants, especially since Im much more familiar with the -D

I feel the D looks more aggressive.

Not a problem dude. Take your time. If you get back to the avenger let us know and keep us updated.
As many have pointed out to me, its a hobby, not a job.
If you find something else you want to enter, let me know and ill update the front page.
