That's interesting about the FM, but sometimes these old kits can surprise you. There is a bit of filling and sanding need around the engine halves but otherwise it's all good. I may need to put a bit of PPP in the wingroot join but that's it.

That's cool Bruce - your work on those engine nacelles & props looks good. It's interesting to see the two kits side by side - the surface detail on the FM kit looks wonderful - but why on earth have the chopped the nose off? :hmm:

The model is now fully assembled bar putting the props on. I'm going to paint the u/c in place - not something I normally do but I wanted to strengthen it as the legs are a bit thin - it's easier to to that without paint.
