Yeah it's a tiny bit messy but not as bad as you think if you exercise a little control on the spray nozzle. You'll have ALOT more control shooting it through an AB.....trust me. I do this with 90% of my automotive finishes.
Wow, you can use latex gloves for that!?! Woah....another use! :giggles:

Yep, I have some small jars or even 4 oz portion cups that I spray into. I hold it over a trash can and have the fans on.
LOL!! I don't like cleaning paint off of my hands. Real PIA.

Use acrylics. You can lick it off!
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

I spent a little bench time the last couple nights. I didn't want to go with the typical, boring flat black for the underside so I painted it using Rustoleum Satin Dark Walnut in the rattle can. It looked a little bit of blackish iron in color. I actually liked it better than flat black.

Nice change up for the undersides Tom. I've seen the ol' ho hum ho hum way of just shooting the chassis in flat black too. Even as a kid I couldn't figure that one out as I've always at the very least picked out the details and painted different chassis components at least a different shade of black to give it some depth and a little more than just a 1 dimensional look. Looking forward to more buddy.

Man, I love that color. Looks like anodized steel. Maybe not 100% correct, but very cool. For me cool always wins. :lashed:
