Re: Kari's Revell 1/32 Bf-110 C-2/C-7
One half-milestone has been reached, in other words the right wing has been assembled, seam lines sanded, filled, sanded etc etc etc and finally primered.
As the 110 will be so big, I need to do as much of the paint work I can in batches.
First time I used Mr Paints Fine Surface primer, and oh boy do I like it! Oh yes!
So easy to spray, no thinning needed what so ever, gives a very nice and smooth result.
And, the surface when dried is hard and robust!! When trying to scratch it, did not come off, and I was not that careful!
Mission models primer is very weak and you need to be extra careful.
Good bye Ammo One Shot primers... Good bye Mission Models primers... There is a new king here, MRP!

I hope I will get the belts tomorrow, as I got on Saturday a mail from Hannants that my order has been dispatched!
Let's see what next!

You didn’t thin the stuff?! I always have to thin it but then again I am dealing with painting when it is 80/90F outside so it dries quick. The stuff is amazing!

Nope, not at all. But I have read someone adds a drop or two Mr Hobbys Leveling thinner, but have not tried it at all.pzl66 wrote:You didn’t thin the stuff?! I always have to thin it but then again I am dealing with painting when it is 80/90F outside so it dries quick. The stuff is amazing!
But yes, the stuff is amazing but also very very smelly and not so healthy, so a good respirator is a must on top of the normal ventilation etc..

Gorgeous! Looking forward to the arrival of the belts. Did you find the subject of John’s build log where he discusses his construction and weathering techniques for HGW belts? Was this not his most recent Dora?
Make more models!

Thank you Bruce!

Re: Kari's Revell 1/32 Bf-110 C-2/C-7
I just asked my friend Wiki and it told me that this bird is going to have a wingspan of half a meter.
Do you already know where to put it? Awesome work, my friend!
