Congratulations! From your description, the struggle to place the interior with the windows was a real pain. However the truth is the photos show just how finely judged your work truly is, Joe. Everything fits so well, and is so beautifully finished. I just have to congratulate you!

Thanks Bruce. I’ve gotta say that this is one of the best auto kits I’ve built yet in terms of ease of building . It’s right up there with Revells Foose ‘56 Ford F-100 kit.

Your attention to surface preparation is masterful. Such a transformation from the kit. You took the good bones and made something downright Daisy Duke sexy out of it. Congratulations!

Thanks buddy. It took me a loooong while to get my process down but it’s almost second nature now.

Looks like painted metal with chromed pieces and those tires are just perfect. Perfect look to the coloration: lots of subtle shifts in the tones too. Just like the real thing!

Thanks Bruce.

Got some done on the engine bay this morning. Again, the newer Revell kits seem to include more than the average bear (but then again.....this is a Pro Modeler kit) Steering columns are not usually present in auto kits. I've got the holes drilled in the shock towers to install the retaining nuts and studs for the shocks later.

I have to say Joe - some times when looking at your builds I've hard pressed to know if I'm looking at a model or an actual car - superb work! I'm glad that you managed to get the interior into the body eventually and without damage - well worth the effort!

Yeah...that! :P1:
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

What everyone else wrote... except Daisy Duke should do any of the uh, “sliding” honors. Beautiful work Mr. Mustang!
