Thanks Lyle. The Molotow went on fine but the Spaztix clear coat would lift the Molotow coat underneath and that was after waiting 48 hours for the Molotow to cure both times. May have to prime the rocker covers prior to putting the Molotow down next time.

Re: Cross Kit General Lee Charger-Engine Progress-11/14
OK fellers......today saw the completion of the engine bay prep. The one thing I couldn't get over was the clear windshield washer bottle out of the box.
A little weird but I guess they were trying to appeal to the average modeler.

I made the necessary corrections to it and managed to finish up the engine bay today. Shock studs and retaining nuts were added to the shock towers, brake lines were fabricated and added and I brought out the highlights of the steering column with a silver lead pencil. Anyhow ....here's the engine bay all prepped for that 440 engine to be installed hopefully shortly....

To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Details added. Now it's time to top it all off with the air cleaner but before I did that I figured I'd snap one more shot so that all the details could be seen. All that's left is the air cleaner and it's time for the assembly to be installed into the car. From there......it's radiator core support install and off to final parts installations.

Thanks Carlos. Hopefully I can get the engine/ transmission assy installed into the car by tomorrow or Tuesday. Time to bring this puppy home.

Do I dare to say, but this is the best engine build I have ever seen, not "only" here on SPAM and by you Joe, but anywhere, ever.
This is absolutely stunning!
