Some progress today, painted the exhaust. I used the wet pallet technique for the first time. A wet pallet prolongs the life of acrylics and make it easier to thin and mix. Making a wet pallet is easy, a plastic food container, sponge and a piece of parchment/baking paper.

I also sanded the cockpit transparency: the sides are a triangel but should be rounded at the upper corners.

That wet pallet technique is indeed quite easy. I think Stuart uses it as well. Maybe I can write a short tutorial.

The polikarpov is nearing completion. It got a wash and flat coat. Next up is the rigging and a few details. I made some holes for the rigging so I hope that helps.
