Totally agree with anyone saying a panther looks more "menacing" in german colors but i just never seen a russkiefied panther being modeled and that makes it a hugely tempting project

Right, i am calling this baby finished! Great kit and excellent weathering subject. The flat sloped sides just beg for streaking. Hope you guys like her too and stay tuned for my next project: Dragon Panther A late in russian captured livery.

First, a report on the final work done...

Started out with an oil dot filtering. End result was subtle but really did wonders in breaking up the monochromatic finish and introduce lots of shade variation:

Once that was done i finished up with my first ever attempt at mud using AK interactive pigment powder:
