John England's P-51 D (1/48 Tamiya)

Post by lawdog114 »

Hello, here is my 1/48 scale Tamiya P-51 D in John England's 357th FG "Missouri Armada". This was actually the chrome version which I......well......dechromed....with Simply Green degreaser. I used a True Details seat and Ultracast wheels. The gun barrels are Albion Alloy brass tubing. I also taped off and painted the nose checkers and invasion stripes in lieu the decals.
