So I built these guys on one of my days off this week and began painting the next day...
Dragon 2nd SAS
Miniart US Tankers
Both are beautifully molded 1/35 figure sets
"Surely I have made my meaning plain? I intend to avenge myself upon you, Admiral. I have deprived your ship of power, and when I swing 'round, I intend to deprive you of your life."
Thanks Tom. I am not much of a figure painter, but I’ll keep plugging away at it...

Looks good Stik. Try a little windsor newton flesh tint oil on the cheek bones and lips. And maybe a bit of burnt umber for the 5 o'clock shadow. A little goes a long way.
Thanks John. Yes, I will be using oils once I get all the base colors on. Figures do tend to be a slow painting process for me.
"Surely I have made my meaning plain? I intend to avenge myself upon you, Admiral. I have deprived your ship of power, and when I swing 'round, I intend to deprive you of your life."
March as one, Don't look back
Odin's sons... Attack!
Unleash hell! Do not repent! Warfare grants us no lament
Let your weapons slash and tear This is no place for fear
Hold the lines! Move as one! In unity our victory's won
Our shields will form a mighty wall
United we shall never fall
Thank you Clint. The quality of injection molded figures has really improved, both in the detail and the poses.

Thanks Torben. I don’t hate painting figures, but man are they challenging! There is no easy way, there are no short cuts...
