1/48 Tamiya Skyraider

Post by Paul »

Stick a fork in it. I got the weathering done but I must confess that the underside is way more filthy than I intended. Since I am missing one decal I will refrain from pics of the belly for now so you will just have to deal with the top. I did manage to fix the decal goof on the tail. All I did there was put another 9 over it, no sweat.

This was a fun kit, I enjoyed it immensely.

Outstanding Paul!!! :yahoo:

I would be all sorts of surprised if the belly was TOO dirty!
Even the newer Cessnas that I have flown had ridiculously dirty, grimey, greasy bellies.

A veritable feast for the eye.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Great job Paul. The dirt looks just fine to me.

Can you fly this plane and land it? Surely you can't be serious? I am serious, and don't call me Shirley

That is a pretty Skyraider. I call the weathering restrained, those SPAD's could be leaking fluids all over the place!

Hey all that oil underneigh stops the rust - as I've said before, that's a very nice Spad Paul.

Cheers

That sure looks good Paul! A beautiful job on that bird for sure sir. Those Skyraiders are such an ungainly 'plane to have been so effective at their work. You did 'em proud!
