Tamiya 1/48 F-16C/N "Aggressor/Adversary"

Post by BlackSheep214 »

This is the start of a dual build between 2 special aircrafts.

I will start on this one first. I will not be building as either Aggressor nor Adversary Viper... but this kit gives me the option I need to build - Block 30.

[This kit also can be built as Block 32, Block 42 & the F-16N]

The kit:

As I get closer into the build, I will reveal which Viper I'm doing as part of my dual build.

Oh nice! I've got that one in the stash and I really dig Aggressors and REALLY like that camo!

BTW - you're off by 1 one your title :giggles:
Thanks,

I corrected the title…

Thank you. Didn't noticed since it was late for me to be on the bench at the time. :bag:

Cool project. You are cranking them out!
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

I'm all over the place in various assembly stages. I did slap a coat of flat white on usual areas outdoors using a rattle and- cuz it was nice outside
Obviously I need to paint the bang seat and cockpit.

I still need to paint the insides of the burner can flat white.

Burner can turbine color callout in instruction guide...

Metallic Grey and aluminum is easy. Paint flat black? Nope. Used Tamiys Black Panel Liner instead.

Accurate or not, not gonna see it once inside burner can. Looks good enough for me. :lashed:

That's such a great kit! I built that one and I have two more in the stash.

Thank you. I am pleasantly surprised this kit is coming along smoothly due to the fact it's a bit more in depth to make it an easy build. Then again, it's a Tamiya kit.
