So I was supposed to go to a model show this weekend, but the incoming winter storm caused the show to be postponed. It's a show called Winter Blitz (yes the irony was not lost on anyone) and it's a mostly armor show. They do a couple of aviation categories and they change each year. This year the two were "Tank Buster Helos" (Apache, Cobra, etc) and P-47 Thunderbolts. With the show postponed for a month, I decided to bust out a P-47 and get it done in one month. I have the Hasegawa P-47D Razorback in the stash. I quickly painted the cockpit with AK Real Color markers and closed up the fuselage. The kit goes together pretty well and the only issue I had was the wings to fuselage. I actually got it in the best spot I could and glued it with Tamiya Quick Setting Extra Thin Glue. Now it's just a matter of getting the seams and few gaps taken care of. I have some new decals and seatbelts coming on Monday (weather permitting).

Looks good Mike.I love Razorbacks. What markings are you using?
Big Joe: 'You just keep those Tigers busy and we'll take care of the rest.'
Oddball: 'The only way I got to keep them Tigers busy is to let them shoot holes in me...'
