The Mighty Moo

Post by BlackSheep214 »

You’ve heard of Mighty Mo, now I saw this book at Barnes & Nobles over the weekend about USS Cowpens; The Mighty Moo. Cruiser converted into a light carrier.

Scalehobbyist has the USS Independence class light carrier and is in my watch list.

That looks interesting, they book. Kit is too pricey, even for me.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

So an Escort carrier then? They were some pretty interesting ships.

Light Carrier.., in between the CV fleet carriers and the CVE escort carriers.

CVL-25 actually.

Yeah... a little bit pricey. I paid less for the Trumpy Hornet carrier

Took a peek at the instruction guide over at scalemates.

Comes with 18 aircrafts - F6F, Avengers, Dauntless - can be positioned wing folded and or extended.

A couple tow tractors

And.....

9 figures!!!!!! :wow: :wow: :wow: :wow: :wow:

Time to invest in a electron microscope painting those figures  :giggles:

This kit is 1/350 scale!

Haven't gotten it yet. Not til I funds next year. :bag:

My bro-in-law broke my balls recently to "inform" me when I retire, I won't be able to buy kits. Bull****! I aquire new kits 3 times a year:

Birthday

Syrcon every October

Christmas

And maybe if I'm lucky, Father's Day. Usually I get something else.

I stock up supplies and such all year round. :lashed:
