Eduard 1/72 scale L-39C Albatros

Post by BlackSheep214 »

It kept staring at me last night after I had just painted the topside Medium Sea Grey on the Rafale kit.

I had this kit in my stash for the better part of the past 10 years. Couldn't resist.

I just love the sleek lines of this bird. I have a 1/48 scale in my watch list at Scalehobbyist.

Another Eduard…gutsy.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Good looking airplane. What livery are you thinking? And diving into braille scale Tom? :giggles:
Thanks,

The office minus the bang seats painted and PE installed. PE on instrument panels done, too. :lashed:

Painted the bang seats, added the PE a belts. Just need to finish off bending the attachment points of the belts and the ejection handle. Skipped out on the PE parts located on the outside of the bang seats since they’re not gonna fit once they’re installed in the cockpit. Skipping on all tiny levers too. 90% of it I’m never gonna see them once complete. Pics forthcoming.

Saw this one yesterday and thought I'd commented on it....but.....it doesn't look like I did after all.

This thing is packed with details for being such a small scale kit and you're pulling it off nicely Tom. Looking forward to seeing more on this buddy. :shoutout:

I do like the L-39, this and the Alpha Jet are cooling looking little aircraft.... Not as nice as the Hawk, but I may be biased. :lashed:
