The pilot figure is looking good Bruce! Considering the range in human stature, he is quite plausible despite the scale differences.
"Surely I have made my meaning plain? I intend to avenge myself upon you, Admiral. I have deprived your ship of power, and when I swing 'round, I intend to deprive you of your life."

Thank you, Carlos!

Without your support I would never have ventured this far away from spaceships. As my buddy Bryan who is also more of a SciFi subject builder put it, “Being in the same room with the aircraft and armor guys makes me feel like I’m 8 years old again.” Thank you for always addressing the positive side of making things even when those things are off the rails completely.

With my birthday coming I bought my second book on Alex Toth whose work inspires and frightens me. As I get more comfortable in my own style of drawing the fear goes away.

That’s some very sound advice… works for model building too I think :hmm:

Thanks, Carlos!

I’m sending an apology to Duke the Duke for missing building day for the Crispins. What you do is as inspiring to me as I’m sure it is to others, Mark—you’re building a community!

I had a birthday yesterday but that’s okay because I like to keep birthdays quiet, just doing my time here on planet Earth as quietly as possible without the “Hey look at me!” from the social media influx. Instead of that, I wanted to sit and take stock of everything and I mean everything. My whole life. I asked myself the hard and impossible questions about life and living. Maybe this sounds silly, but I have always wondered why I was here and what my purpose was. It was a quiet day. I didn’t really do too much. I didn’t think about this project at all. It was a day and a night of going inside and taking that apart—not building anything new—to see if the parts fit some kind of special plan.

Well, a belated happy birthday. You are here for a reason, never think otherwise! I like having you as a friend. Then I’m not the strange one! Love ya brother!
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Thanks, Lyle!

It’s comforting to be understood and supported. I know all of us may be a bit “touched,” as the saying goes. That’s meant as a compliment. There’s such a thing as good people no matter what and you qualify. I was truly sorry to learn of your arthritis and hope there is some way to mitigate your pain. I truly do, I truly do.

Aww, make me blush. Down here we say, "Tehched"...southern for Touched. The 'ritis boys are what they are. Good days and some not so good. the fact that God has given me another day is a blessing. . . on top of all that I have. Food, roof over my head, family.
