Thanks guys!

Today was Gloss Coat day soooo......I broke out the Testors "Wet Look" Clear ….the ONLY way to go for supreme gloss finishes in my experience. I dispensed it into a paint jar, let 'er gas out for about 5 minutes while I was removing whatever dust particles I could find on the body and went to work.

I spray all the bottom areas first and work my way up the sides and onto the roof, decklid and all the upper facing areas with a mist coat at first and then open the needle up and go "full bore" with a nice wet coat without taking it too far to avoid runs.

Couldn't be happier with the results. Now...……..to let it cure out for a couple of days before a nice wet sanding and polishing.

Outstanding...Amazing look.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

I wanted to play around with the wheel / tire and stance today. Actually I should've done this step first with an unpainted body but.....I just so happen to have a Revell Superbird kit that has pretty much the same dimensions as this kit does. I robbed a set of Monogram / Revell 1/24 scale street tires that have the perfect dimensions for such a big car as the Charger and used the Eckler Corvette wider wheels in the back and the skinnier OOB MPC ones in the front. I'm kind of likin' this.... :hmm:

:hmm: We'll see. I'm not real thrilled about decanting the paint.
