Re: 1/72 Hobby Boss IDF Merkava MkIV

I have also noticed the lack of inside detail on the tracks. Also I used a razor saw to deepen the depressions around the turret armor that encased the gun tube. Where the the two halves of the turret meet there is a little sloppy so I've got to clean that up. Aside from dry fitting the tracks and h...

Re: 1/72 Zvezda Panther D

Thanks guys! I added the decals and misted.it with a 50/50 mix of clear and buff. That toned it down enough to my liking. I also did a.bit of a pin wash with Vallejo's European dust wash. Since it was a flat finish it did stain a little. Looks good, but could look better with some more strategic app...

Re: 1/72 Hobby Boss IDF Merkava MkIV

I've got this one q'd up next. It looks like a nice kit despite its low parts count. It does need a bit of attention from my perspective but filler around the seams looks like the majority of it.

Can't wait to see your paint job.

1/72 Zvezda Panther D

It's been a while. I slapped this kit together over the weekend and it was a nice build. But the weekend ended all too soon. All I have is a base paint job on it. No zim, no weathering. https://www.use.com/images/s_2/bb14986f91ad023a2257.jpg https://www.use.com/images/s_2/7fc7473372cb96d5ff1b.jpg ht...

Re: 1/72 Airfix Bf 109-E3

I'm using Vallejo Model Air. I've recently been using their black primer. Maybe that has something to do with it. It's just been to cold outside to use my rattle cans of Rustoleum like I normally do. So this has never happened before now. I suspect it has something to do with me rushing and not lett...

Well this hasn't happened to me before.

Oops. Guess I'll have to fix this very carefully.

Re: 1/72 Airfix Bf 109-E3

Well... It's been a while since I worked on this one, but it was calling to me from the shelf as it sat beside its 1/48 big brother I'm also working on. I finished up a bit of body work and some few small parts attached that I hope I won't break off later. After a round of primer touch ups I sprayed...

Re: New Revell T-55A 72nd scale

I forgot about getting that kit for myself. The T-90K was a gem of a kit and this one looks just as nice. I must remember to pick it up. :)
