Re: 1/48 Hobbycraft Hurricane IIC
Yeah, the weekend madness GBs really push your modeling limits regarding speed and attempted quality. I hope we can have another one this fall when they are traditionally done.

Academy 1/350 Graf Spee
This is the Academy 1/350 Graf Spee kit that was released a few years back. I built this one on and off over the course of a couple of years, but it is not a difficult build at all. Even for a novice ship builder such as myself. It really is a good learning kit, although it does have a few accuracy ...

1/350 Type VII Carrier Killer U-boats
I completed these builds a couple of years back. Two Type VII U-Boats in 1/350 scale: the Hobbyboss Type VII A and the Revell Germany Type VII C The Hobbyboss Type VIIA is done as U-29, killer of HMS Courageous at the outbreak of WWII, and I weathered her in a "colder" water style from her...

Re: Monogram 1/48 F-20 Tigershark
Thank you Erik and Shark.
Erik, I did try to base this as factually as I could on MAF F-5Es, and I am glad to hear that you like the way that I pulled it off.
Shark, I used Humbrol Satin for the top coat. I love the finish that it gives.

Re: Monogram 1/48 TBD-1
Thanks Shark. Monogram has not released the TBD in a few years. Just a guess, but I bet it is gonna be released again not too far in the distant future, seeing how they have been re issuing nearly all their of their old kits. IIRC, Squadron made a vac form canopy for it, and I think Falcon has a TBD...

Re: Tamiya 1/35 M13/40 Carro Commando conversion
So I scratched up the details that I needed using various odds & ends from my spares bin: 1m optical rangefinder, goniometer, and jerry can rack http://i1319.photobucket.com/albums/t671/stikpusherII/Carro%20Commando/100_0201_zps44e540a5.jpg then test fitted them in place http://i1319.photobucket...

Tamiya 1/35 M13/40 Carro Commando conversion
So this started as a quick build for a GB on FSM using this kit and refenrces, along with the basic turret replacement part saved my build of the Italeri M13/40. The main kit build up extremely quickly, basicly taking me a few hours in one evening. http://i1319.photobucket.com/albums/t671/stikpusher...
